Siggi is a rare treat. He is Al Khamsa and Sahanad but also pure Davenport. He is one of 5 Sahanad descendants that are pure Davenport. His dam and three siblings. Also he has a rare line to Kamil Ibn Sahanad who is almost extinct in Al Khamsa. Kamil Ibn Sahanad was the only producing Davenport son of Sahanad. His full sister died of an accident early in life and never produced. Siggi is vital to keep this part of Sahanad alive and we are excited to what he will do for our program. Siggi himself is a little more standoffish than my other boys but super easy to handle and respectful. He is also an athletic machine. He has a nice rounded body, great topline, straight legs and the ability to move like an advanced dressage horse. His head is purely desert and he has the tiniest ears. He reminds me of his Davenport ancestor Lysander. His foals have been exceptional so far and both have been super friendly and athletic!
